How long will it take to repair my jewelry?
Where does my jewelry go when it’s not with me?
We’ve got you covered; we treat your jewelry like the Hope Diamond for every moment it’s not with you. Each night that it stays with us, it sleeps quietly in our state of the art safe while wearing a blanket of insurance.
When we take your jewelry into our possession, we document the information about each piece and inspect it for characteristics that separate it from any other. From there, it goes into our safe to wait for our jeweler to finish on his other projects. When he is ready for your piece, he carefully reads the written instructions to confirm that you need the ring sized, rhodium-plated, or just refurbished. Our jewelers, like us, aim to make you smile when you are reunited with your jewelry again.
Sometimes, we get busy. We don’t know why, but some times of the year are busier than others for jewelry repairs. We will never have your jewelry for more than a week without your okay, and usually, you have your jewelry back within a couple days! We would love to do all your repairs while you wait, but we find that the work is more thorough when we give your jewelry the time it deserves.
If you aren’t sure of what you want done, but you know that you want something different, ask our advice, it’s always free. We offer suggestions from sizing your ring to fit a different finger, all the way to helping you design a new setting for your diamond or gemstones.
With Unique Gold and Diamonds, you can rest assured; our passions are jewelry and your happiness. When repairing your jewelry in Passaic, Bergen, Essex, or Hudson County, you can trust your local jeweler.
