I want to talk about the confusion about “lab grown” Diamonds. Especially on POSH, where cubic zirconia and Moissanite are INCORRECTLY referred to as lab grown diamonds

Celebrities who have caught on to lab-grown diamonds include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Zendaya, Emma Watson, Meghan Markle, Jennifer Hudson, Lana Condor, Regina King, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Mara, Deepika Padukone and more.

Lab grown diamonds have the IDENTICAL chemical composition as naturally mined Diamonds. They are graded the same as naturally mined diamonds. To both the naked eye and under a microscope they are identical; both in chemical composition and grading properties. Moissanite, cubic zirconia, white topaz etc.are ENTIRELY different and bare no resemblance to that of a lab grown diamond. The term “lab grown” diamond is used loosely and incorrectly on posh.
